Description

The primary responsibility of the Project Manager Assistant is to contribute and support the planning and execution of projects. Taking direct lead over various project aspects, project manager assistant will work to help implement project goals as directed by the project managers. This role requires individuals to oversee project goals, analyze data from project execution, and any other duties as determined by project managers.

To be successful as a project manager assistant you should be able to perform any tasks assigned by the project manager in an efficient and timely manner. An outstanding project manager assistant should be able to maintain oversight of all project activities, identify any issues, and ensure these are resolved promptly.

This position will also require the Project Manager Assistant to assist in other areas within the Sales department as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work directly with project managers to help implement project goals.
• Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution.
• Submit Order Acknowledgement, Project Information Form, and Credit Application to customer.
• Obtain and follow up on customer credit applications and project information forms.
• Review and administer contracts and modifications; prepare contract review records and obtain necessary management approvals.
• Prepare and maintain contract documentation and maintain accurate backlog reports for production scheduling purposes.
• Track payments and deadlines.
• Process all sales orders (for a given account/s).
• Process Bill of Materials for production.
• Maintain detailed and organized files.
• Perform closing activities as needed.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in project management in a related industry.
• 1-5 years of proven experience in the project management field.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively.
• Proficient use of computer systems and software applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
